What do you love about your imagination? What is the most creative thing you have ever come up with?

The power of imagination is one of the most extraordinary gifts we possess. It allows us to dream beyond the boundaries of the present and envision a future rich in possibility, creativity, and impact. For me, those moments of daydreaming often transport me to serene landscapes—a beautiful house nestled by a river or lake, surrounded by towering trees and breathtaking mountain views. It’s not just a scene; it’s a feeling of peace, connection, and balance that inspires me to keep imagining bigger and bolder futures.

Among those vivid dreams, one idea has resonated deeply with me. It’s a huge endeavor of building something with far-reaching impact—not just for myself but for the lives of others. I dream of founding a non-profit organization (E.L.I.) with the mission to sponsor visas for international teachers. This initiative would bring talented educators from around the globe to live and teach in the United States, creating a cultural exchange that enriches both their lives and the communities they touch. But this endeavor doesn’t stop there.

The non-profit’s mission would extend beyond education. Beyond imagining the tangible aspects of this endeavor, I also see the ripple effects it could create. By leveraging it as a platform for charitable actions, we could bridge gaps, uplift underserved groups, and expand our collective capacity for positive change. It could become a vessel to transform imagination into actionable, meaningful work while setting the stage for collaboration with communities around the world. This endeavor combines creativity and purpose in a way that feels boundless. A global network of knowledge, empathy, and understanding where educators become ambassadors of culture and compassion. A future where every action leads to creating a world connected by shared humanity and the pursuit of empowerment.

Of course, as with any great dream, there’s a duality of paths before me. My application for this major endeavor could see approval, lighting the way for it to flourish and grow. Or it could face denial/rejection, teaching lessons that will shape the next iteration of purpose, where rejection may serve as an opportunity for introspection, refinement, and reinvention. Both outcomes are valid, and both will shape the next chapter. Both possibilities are real, and I carry them together—with hope on one side and the readiness for resilience on the other. While the approval or rejection of this endeavor may not yet be clear, my actions and intentions remain aligned with the possibility of good. This audacious vision is about more than approval; it’s about the intention behind it. Regardless of the outcome, the intention is steadfast.

I put forward this endeavor with unwavering belief in the power of hope, prayer, and action. I trust that the universe, in its infinite wisdom, will guide this endeavor exactly where it’s meant to go. I’m putting forward my utmost intention and belief in the universe’s capacity to grant this dream its wings. Until the day this dream gains its wings, I will continue to imagine, to hope, and to create in ways that feel purposeful—not just for myself but for everyone this vision has the potential to touch.

Trusting in the wisdom of the universe and aligning my intentions with its possibilities, I do believe this vision has the power to take flight. Until the day it does, I’ll keep imagining and acting with purpose—not just for myself but for the countless others who might benefit from this dream. E.L.I. is more than a non-profit idea; it’s a testament to the power of imagination and its extraordinary ability to empower and transform.

Our imagination, our dreams - they remind us of what’s possible, and this one inspires me to work toward a more connected world. It’s a vision worth holding on to, nurturing, and believing in. What are the dreams that fuel your imagination? How can we leverage them together to build something extraordinary?

What choices have you made that really show who you truly are?

Looking back at the choices I've made, I can’t help but laugh at how life keeps throwing me into the deep end, expecting me to magically swim. Spoiler alert—I’ve been doing more than swimming. I've been practically doing synchronized moves while dodging flying rubber duckies along the way. Every choice I’ve made has been an experiment in survival, resilience, and sometimes, wildly misplaced confidence. And though life has taught me many lessons (some painfully awkward), one core truth shines through— I show up, do the work, pray hard, I don't quit and keep going...period. I f I had to sum up my life in an elevator pitch, it would be this: "Hi, I'm Julie - stubbornly independent, fueled by sheer determination and powered by a borderline obsessive relationship with leap of faith and prayers. Every major decision in my life has been a mix of "What’s the worst that could happen?" and "Dear God, please help me not mess this up." Indeed, m y life has...

A Journey Within - An Introspective Activity Journal

Hey Lovies, Welcome!  This is  " A Journey Within" — an introspective activity journal that contains some tough questions, at times simple or straightforward (but still pack a punch). These questions can be hard to answer if one is unable to pause, reflect, and dig deep . These prompts are not your garden-variety "What’s your favorite color?" questions. Oh no, they’re the deep, soul-searching, "Why are you the way you are?" kind. The kind that make you realize you’ve been ghosting your own inner self for years. When I started answering one of the many questions in this journal, I found myself in a circus of introspection, where my brain is the reluctant trapeze artist, and I'm hanging on for dear life. This journal is all about wrestling my inner thoughts and, hopefully, emerging a bit wiser. Or just more confused—that’s part of the fun, right? These reflection questions are like brain yoga, though; and I’m sharing my answers here in case they insp...
